Jennifer Amdur Spitz is founder and principal of Amdur Spitz & Associates, Inc., a full-service public relations and strategic communications agency.
Jennifer is a top-level strategist and enjoys working with entrepreneurial businesses and non-profit organizations to define, launch and grow their brands. Jennifer works closely with clients to create and implement communications, marketing and partnership strategies that help clients establish and grow their businesses. Prior to starting the agency in 1992, Jennifer worked nine years in government, corporate and nonprofit communications. She held the following positions: Chief, Office of Communications for the Illinois Department of Public Aid, 1988 - 1992; Account Executive in consumer marketing at Burson-Marsteller, Chicago; and Director of Communications and Development at the Leadership Council for Metropolitan Open Communities. Jeff Spitz is an Emmy Award-winner who creates original documentaries for broadcast on PBS and cable. His credits as a director and social impact producer include: The Return of Navajo Boy, an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival and PBS which has won international film festival awards and earned special recognition from the US EPA, US Dept of Energy and the Government Accounting Office for inspiring congress to mandate a multi-agency response to uranium contamination in the Navajo Nation; From the Bottom Up, a one-hour, national PBS public affairs report about community activism; The Roosevelt Experiment, an ABC-TV special telling the story of an integrated college in a segregated city; and America’s Libraries Change Lives, celebrating the immigrant experience in America’s public libraries, narrated by Whoopi Goldberg.
Jeff’s new documentary, Food Patriots, is a funny personal film about raising backyard chickens, battling antibiotic resistant superbugs and changing the way Americans think about food. A California native and graduate of UCLA, Jeff holds a masters degree in English Literature from the University of Chicago. He is an Associate Professor of documentary film at Columbia College Chicago. Jeff creates media arts and live events programs with schools and colleges. Arlen Parsa, a native of Hanover, New Hampshire, builds websites and shoots and edits videos for a variety of for-profit and non-profit clients. Videos Arlen has edited have cumulatively been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, and websites he has built have cumulatively received over one million hits.
Beth Keller Stein has been working in many forms of media including print collateral, interactive, and environmental graphics, for over 20 years. From start-up to non-profit organizations to members of the Fortune 500, her philosophy and process are the same: to first understand the audience, and the objective of the assignment to be able to find that one message that will connect to the target audience and make an impact.
