Jennifer Amdur Spitz, the principal of Amdur Spitz & Associates edited Urban Network: Museums Embracing Communities in 2003. The book, which was was made possible through a grant from The National Recreation Foundation and published by The Field Museum in Chicago, has been distributed to museums nationwide as a manual for integrating museums into the communities that they call home.
